First of all, here is some of our music:

We are System Ali, a Jaffa-based Hip-Hop ensemble in four languages: Arabic, Hebrew, English and Russian – the sum total of our members' native-tongues. The band was established in 2006 in a public bomb shelter in Jaffa's Ajami neighborhood. Our creative force is rooted in the rich and charged clash between the diverse communities, languages, musical styles and personal histories that the ten band members bring to stage. This is our inspiration and creative fuel. 

In our work we seek to express, advocate and promote a platform for multiple and diverse voices, identities and perspectives comprising Jewish and Arab societies – emphasizing the creative potential in the  encounter and dialogue between them.

Our musical creative work has always been intertwined with intensive grassroots social and educational activity with youth. This activity has enabled us to carry the "System Ali" message to continually growing audiences - Jews and Arabs, long term residents and new immigrants - throughout the country.

As a home for our social and educational projects, two years ago we have established "Beit System Ali" (the System Ali Home), a youth music center operating in Jaffa and Bat-Yam. The center offers multi-lingual creation workshops, mentorships for youth bands, and study programs for local young musicians – with the aim of promoting and developing young local Jewish and Arab artists, while encouraging cooperation and creative dialogue between them.

These days, we are working fullheartedly on completing our debut album. We have put faith, sweat and several years of our lives into this album, because we believe in its potential to become a crucial part in the cultural revolution we long for here. 

In order to complete the recording of the album and its distribution, we need your help.

The album is an independent, non-profit production, without involvement of any commercial bodies. All proceeds of the album will be dedicated to support and further develop the social and educational activity of Beit System Ali’s youth center.
